Residents gathered for a Valentine Party with the theme “Celebrating Love.” The event gave everyone a chance to spend time together and mark the holiday.
The highlight of the day was the crowning of the Valentine King and Queen. Terry Hall was crowned King, and Shelia Waggoner was crowned Queen. This year’s coronation stood out because a real connection has grown between them. Their story is a reminder that love can be found at any age.
Residents were served an Italian lunch that included lasagna, breadsticks, salad, and cake. Staff members also provided cookies, cupcakes, and punch. With help from the community, including balloon donations through Family Dollar, each resident received a Valentine balloon.
Residents and staff exchanged cards and small gifts and enjoyed visiting with one another. Organizers thank everyone who helped make the event possible and for showing continued care for the residents.
