Wake service for Carlleen Maly, 92 will be at 7:30 PM Tuesday January 6, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bison. Mass of Christian Bural will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday at St. Joseph’s officiated by Rev. John Herrera. Burial will follow at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
Carlleen was born south of Lacey on July 29, 1933, to Oscar and Anna Bel Thompson Stotts and died Wednesday December 31, 2025, at Hennessey Care Center.
She married Joe Maly in Bison on April 7, 1952, and the couple celebrated seventy-three years of marriage in 2025. Carlleen was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, St. Joseph’s Altar Society, ACCW, and Catholic Daughters.
She is survived by her husband Joe of the home, one daughter Sharon Ingle of Raymore, Missouri, five sons Joel Maly and wife Susan of Moore, James Maly and wife Marie of Waukomis, John Maly and wife Dana of Choctaw, Mark Maly and wife Shawnna of Hennessey, Matt Maly and wife Dee of Choctaw; fourteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
Carlleen was preceded in death by her parents, one infant daughter Diana, and one brother Carrol Stotts.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
