A celebration of life for Shirley Earlene Fryer Broughton will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM Sunday February 8, 2026, at Roosters south of Hennessey. The family invites everyone to come for food, stories, and fellowship in memory of Shirley.
Shirley was born July 29, 1934, to Cecil and Callie Fryer and passed away December 31, 2025, at her home in Hennessey.
She worked at local banks for several years, and as a secretary for several oilfield businesses in the area.
Shirley is survived by three daughters Frankie Wheeler and husband Randy, Vicki Martin, Teresa Cussner and husband Remus, daughter-in-law Carol Broughton, ten grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lee, one son Mitchell Broughton, three sisters, and one brother.
Shirley loved her family so much.
