This is a notice that the Process Meeting for Sooner Solid Solutions Tier III application for a solid waste processing facility has been scheduled.
Hillary Young, Chief Engineer in the Land Protection Division, stated in an email that the DEQ will be holding a process meeting to explain the steps of DEQ’s Tier III permitting process relating to the Sooner Solid Solutions permit application. The Process Meeting will be held on January 6, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Hennessey Public Library, 525 S. Main Street, Hennessey, Oklahoma, 73742.
Please note this is not a meeting for protests. Its purpose is to advise interested persons on participation opportunities during the DEQ permitting process.

A copy of the permit application can be found locally at the Hennessey Public Library and on DEQ’s website at Permit Public Participation Process. Under “Permit Public Participation Process,” click on “Solid Waste”. Under “Application Filed (By County)” click on “Kingfisher County” and then “Tier III Permit Application”.
