To the Citizens of Hennessey,
As I mark my first year serving as your Chief of Police, I want to take a moment to express my deepest appreciation to this community. When I accepted this role, my goal was simple but important: to build, unify, and elevate the Hennessey Police Department so that our citizens could continue to feel proud of the agency that serves them. Over the past twelve months, the level of support, trust, and partnership you have shown has made that work not only possible, but meaningful.
This first year has brought tremendous progress, much driven by your encouragement and willingness to stand behind your police department. Together, we strengthened our rank structure, increased officer training, improved community outreach, expanded our reserve program, modernized equipment, and established a more unified department culture rooted in Community, Duty, and Integrity.
None of this was achieved alone. Our officers, reserves, town employees, local businesses, schools, and everyday citizens played a part in helping us grow. Every handshake, message, and word of support made an impact. You helped motivate a small but dedicated department to work harder, train more, and serve at a higher standard.
Most importantly, I want the people of Hennessey to know that your police department is committed to you. We will continue to build on this momentum—strengthening community relationships, increasing officer wellness and training, and working tirelessly to keep our town safe.
Thank you, Hennessey, for welcoming me into my new role, supporting this department, and believing in the direction we are headed. It is an honor to serve as your Chief of Police, and I look forward to continuing this mission with you in the years ahead.
