Tommy Joe Parrish, age 67 of Hennessey, OK died on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at AMG Specialty Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born October 4, 1958 in Oklahoma City, OK to parents Kenneth Parrish and Alice Stribel.
Though Tommy faced a number of health issues throughout his life, he was a determined man who achieved more than doctors and his family ever thought he would. Some of his greatest achievements were being a remarkable husband, father, friend, and a devout follower of God. Tommy’s faith in God and his own abilities allowed him to live a full life colored by laughter, community, and family.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Alice and Kenneth; brothers, Steven Parrish and Johnny Parrish.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Parrish; daughter Kathryn Thomas and husband Tyler Thomas; son, Brandon Parrish and wife Eileen Anderson; granddaughter, Charlotte Thomas; sister, Katie Bossa and husband John Bossa; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
The family would like to thank the numerous doctors and nurses of St. Anthony’s and AMG hospitals for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Jude’s or Compassion International, two charities Tommy supported.
A celebration of Tommy’s life will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 29, 2025 at LifeWay Church in Kingfisher, OK. The family encourages anyone who knew Tommy and loves his family to attend.
