The Hennessey Lions Club has once again shown their commitment to helping the community by donating $500 to the Hennessey Methodist Church Food Bank.
The contribution comes at a crucial time as many local families are feeling the effects of the ongoing SNAP assistance issue. The food bank has seen an increase in need over the past few weeks, and this donation will help restock shelves and keep food on the table for those struggling to make ends meet.
The club meets every Thursday at noon at the Family Cafe, and all are welcome to attend a meeting or join the club.
