Hennessey Middle Schoolโs annual Eagle Run took place on October 31, 2025, giving students and staff a chance to dress up, get active, and raise funds for their school. The event is one of the most anticipated traditions of the year, combining fun, fitness, and a little friendly competition.
The Eagle Run features a 1- or 2-mile route around town, with students and teachers choosing whether to walk, jog, or sprint their way to the finish. Each year, students look forward to one special challenge โ trying to beat Mr. Tarango in the 2-mile run. Staff members join in on foot or help organize the runners at the starting line.
Supporting safety and logistics, Alejandra, Chelsey, and Nurse Shelley patrolled the course in gators, ready to assist anyone needing help back to the finish line. Officers Solis and Rojo, along with town employees, blocked off roads to ensure the runners had a safe path. Their teamwork made the day smooth and enjoyable for everyone.
After the race, students spent the afternoon competing in Dodge Ball Tournaments and other high-energy activities โ a well-deserved reward after all those miles.
Thanks to all who helped make the 2025 Eagle Run another success for Hennessey Middle School!
