The Hennessey National Honor Society (NHS) recognized its newest members on October 9th, 2025, during an induction ceremony held in the Hennessey High School Auditorium. The event honored students for their academic achievements and personal excellence and concluded with cake and punch for students, families, and guests.
NHS recognizes students based on four key pillars: scholarship, service, leadership, and character. To qualify for membership, students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, complete a required number of community service hours, demonstrate initiative and leadership through school clubs, sports teams, or community organizations, and consistently display integrity, reliability, and respect for others.
Returning members include Emma Copeland, Kate Curran, Jaryn Dowell, Tayler Franklin, Jocelyn Matousek, Clare Munroe, Wyatt Muzny, Kaleb Peach, Jesi Pickle, Emily Ramirez, Kallie Rapp, Sammy Sosa, Leilie Vadder, and Vandin Vadder.
New members inducted this year are Levi Ferrell, Ivonne Fraire, Addison Huntsberger, Kasey Kelly, Paityn Koehn, JoHanna Matousek, Ally Painter, Joselyn Roman, Casen Scott, Tryson Sturgill, Stephanie Valles, and Asher Ward.
Congratulations to all of Hennessey’s National Honor Society members—both returning and newly inducted—for their commitment to excellence, leadership, and service in the classroom and throughout the community.
