Hennessey FFA officers joined student leaders from across northwest Oklahoma for the 2025 Chapter Officer Leadership Training (COLT) Conference held on September 23 at the Enid Events Center.
Led by Oklahoma’s state FFA officers, this year’s conference theme, “On Target: Take Aim,” focused on helping students plan, lead, and serve with purpose. Keynote speaker Kelly Barnes of Edmond—a former state FFA president and leadership coach—challenged students to lead with vision, adaptability, and confidence in the face of change.
State President Cooper Kline emphasized that the conference helps officers develop the leadership and communication skills needed to overcome challenges and guide their chapters toward success.
Representing Hennessey were Kaden Kennedy, President; Wyatt Muzny, Vice President; Kaddo Miller, Secretary; Cade Charmasson, Treasurer; Jentry Pribyl, Reporter; Brandt Beaman, Sentinel; and Adviser Jorge Huizar.
The event was sponsored by Public Service Company of Oklahoma through the Oklahoma FFA Foundation. The Oklahoma FFA Association currently serves more than 29,500 members in 370 high schools statewide, continuing its strong legacy of developing future leaders across the state.
