It started as a perfectly peaceful October morning on October 10thโuntil three Hennessey Pre-K classes rolled up to the Hennessey Public Library like a pumpkin-powered parade, unleashing a small army of sugar-fueled preschoolers on the unsuspecting pumpkin patch.
What began as a calm educational outing quickly turned into what witnesses described as โa full-scale Fall-tastrophe.โ There were high-pitched squeals, spontaneous foot races, and a heated debate over who found the โmost perfectly round pumpkin.โ
While one half of the group was coaxed indoors with promises of stories, puppets, and temporary peace, the other half took to the pumpkin patch like a herd of caffeinated antsโposing for photos, staging sack races, and challenging local zombies and witches to friendly duels.
Thankfully, local authorities confirmed that no pumpkins were harmed, though several were reportedly โemotionally overwhelmedโ and are now resting comfortably in quiet storage.
Once again, Hennessey Pre-K proved that when it comes to fall fun, learning, and a little bit of chaos, nobody does it better.
