Itโs not exactly โBridge Over Troubled Water,โ but the new span over a quiet creek northwest of Hennessey is now open to traffic. Located on NW 2890 Road (Pioneer Blacktop), just a half-mile north of EW 610 Road, the bridge officially opened on Monday, August 11th.
Kingfisher County District 2 Commissioner Mike Sparks announced the completion, noting the previous structure was in rough shape. The rebuild features all-new steel and a concrete deck, ensuring a safer and longer-lasting crossing. Photos by AAH Jack Quirk.
