If you were at Sparky’s Restaurant on Friday, July 18th, and thought a bachelorette party had broken out at lunchtime, don’t worry, it was just the Hennessey High School Class of 1979 Ladies catching up and turning the volume (and the laughs) all the way up.
Thirteen members of the class gathered for a reunion of sorts, sharing stories, memories, and maybe a few secrets best left in 1979. And here’s a bit of nostalgia: five of these ladies were part of the last-ever 1st-grade class at the historic Lacy School.
The lunch turned into a four-hour laugh-fest, complete with plans to do it again soon, and maybe warn the restaurant next time!
