Bull Foot Park turned into Hop-topia on Saturday, as the Lion’s Club Hennessey Easter Festival powered through the chilly drizzle with unstoppable small-town spirit.
Quick Pump kicked things off with the “Running with My Peeps” fun run (because nothing says Easter like cardio in the cold).
By noon sharp, kids and parents bundled up and hit the field for the great egg hunt, umbrellas in one hand, baskets in the other. And the prizes? We’re talking candy, bikes, baskets, and yes… an actual Xbox.
Big thanks to the Hennessey Lion’s Club for organizing the madness, And hats off (or rain hoods up) to the Police Department, Fire Department, Town employees, Hennessey United, Eagle Mart, Quick Pump Services, the Powder and Strings Club, Farm Bureau, 132 Bible Church, The Reserve Angels, and every generous soul who donated or braved the elements to help out.
