The Hennessey School Board held a meeting on Monday, April 14th, during which new officer positions were elected. Dr. James Matousek was elected as President, Dakota Semrad as Vice President, and Amy Charmasson as Clerk. Lance Painter, the newest member of the board, was sworn in during the meeting 1.
During the voting for officer positions, there was a brief mix-up. Dr. Matousek initially nominated Luke Lough for Vice President but quickly realized his mistake and intended to nominate Dakota Semrad instead. All members voted no on the initial nomination.
