As the recognized home for NASCAR’s history, heritage, and family traditions, the NASCAR Hall of Fame utilizes authentic artifacts, memorabilia, and vintage NASCAR race vehicles to present compelling exhibitions. Since its opening in 2010, the Hall has borrowed countless race cars from race teams, collectors, and museums throughout the country. This year to honor our Class of 2025 Inductee Ralph Moody we are featuring Hajek Motorsports Museumโs 1969 Ford Torino Talladega built by Holman Moody and raced by David Pearson for that yearโs NASCAR Championship. โDisplaying the actual cars our inductees, such as Moody, utilized, brings their story to life for our guests,โ says Kevin Schlesier, the Senior Director of Museum and Industry Affairs at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. โThe Hall is grateful for the generosity of museums such as the Hajek Motorsports Museumโwhich has lent us several cars for multiple different exhibitionsโfor allowing us to borrow such priceless vehicles as the Torino to let us bring history to life for our guests.โ
Brent Hajekโs Museum, located in Ames Oklahoma has 86 historic race cars in the collection! 26 of the cars are on loan between Peterson Museum, NASCAR Hall of Fame, Henry Ford Museum, or are at Holzman Race Cars and other shops around the country for updates and repairs.
The Museum is located at 105 E Corporate Dr, Ames, OK and is open by appointment by calling (580) 753-4611
