A beautiful quilt was created for Joyce Holder, featuring signed squares that carry heartfelt messages of love and encouragement.
The idea for this quilt came about during a Community Action Team planning meeting for the Holder fundraiser. Organizers acted quickly, purchasing fabric from Prairie Quilt and placing squares to be signed throughout our town at locations such as The Hennessey Mercantile, Prairie Quilt, and Hennessey Schools. The backing of the quilt is made with Minky fabric, with designs for cancer awareness. The Hennessey community signed around 694 squares! The quilt was then stitched together and quilted by Shirley Koons. It was finally delivered to Joyce, who continues to be in need of our prayers.
