The Hennessey Masonic Lodge #56, represented by Jack Painter and Darrell Lee, came to Hennessey High School and presented Mrs. Gritz with a check for Crash! Science Curriculum. Mrs. Gritz will be using this curriculum in her Forensics Class, but she also could see it in many other classes. Mrs. Gritz stated “I think the format this will be in will be interesting to students and give them real-life scenarios that will hopefully help them become better drivers and get interested in the math and science behind CRASHes! Crash! The curriculum aligns with state learning guidelines and supports state-mandated testing. It provides a subtle, effective, safe driving message without preaching to the students about safety. Students are motivated by working on actual motor vehicle homicide police reports. This is a great hands-on curriculum to bring awareness to a much-needed subject. AAH, Shelley Muzny
