Kinslee Copeland and Kennes Briley participated in the Elks Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest on January 18th at Kingfisher. Kinslee won the 11-12 year old division by making 20/25 free throws. She will move on to compete in the Regional competition, which will be held in Kingfisher on January 25th, with a chance to advance to state competition. Kennes finished 3rd in the 9-10 year old division. Both girls are members of the 5th/6th grade Lady Eagles basketball team, which is currently 7-2 in the season. Kinslee is the daughter of Tyson and Vanessa Copeland, and Kennes is the daughter of Gradey and Linzie Briley. Photo and information by Brian Richardson’
