KEEPING HENNESSEY SAFE!

On December 13, 2024 Officer Logan Blackburn of The Hennessey Police Department observed a Black SUV driving erratically and nearly causing multiple accidents. After a pursuit, he successfully apprehended the driver, who exhibited signs of intoxication.

Deputy Charles Blackburn from The Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Office assisted in conducting sobriety tests and arresting the driver for driving under the influence, eluding a police officer, and transporting an open container of alcohol. The vehicle was impounded, and the evidence, including an open bottle of vodka found in the car, was confiscated and secured.

The driver was ultimately taken to The Kingfisher County Jail with a recorded blood alcohol level of 0.25. Great job Officer Blackburn! photo by AAH Angela Bruner
