Having a heart of gold isnโt a phrase used lightly, and once you meet Morgan Gonzales, you’ll immediately feel her passion and drive to help others. Morgan, a small-town girl from Vici, Oklahoma, grew up on a farm surrounded by cattle, pigs and horses. She currently lives in Carrier with her husband, Paul, and their two daughters, Fallon (5) and Magdalena (3), along with their own flock of chickens and pigs. Morgan expresses her love for country living by saying, โWe have free-range chickens and kids! We enjoy letting them experience country life, running barefoot and feeling free outdoors.โ
Morgan’s career path was a clear choice for her: “I talk a lot! I figured speech therapy would be the best fit for me.” She studied at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO), earning her masterโs degree in speech-language pathology and a bachelorโs degree, with a minor in Spanish. She saw a significant need for pediatric therapy in Northwestern Oklahoma and took the initiative to establish a service that supports children with developmental delays and special needs by launching Gonzales Therapy Services in 2022.
Opening Gonzales Therapy Services in Enid, she started out small with a one-room space and operating alone. Since then, she has expanded her clinic into a larger facility, added a fully licensed staff, and is opening an additional location in Kingfisher. Morgan has faced her own mental health challenges related to her ADHD and Autism diagnoses, which has deepened her understanding and desire to assist her patients and their families. The mission of Gonzales Therapy Services is to empower children and their families through comprehensive, compassionate care that integrates speech, occupational, and physical therapy. They believe that truly supporting a child’s growth also involves supporting their family. By creating a nurturing environment, providing individualized therapies, and offering family-centered support, they strive to help every child reach their fullest potential and thrive in all aspects of life. Their goal is not to cure a childโs diagnosis but to help enhance their strengths.
