Jason Wilson was raised west of Hennessey in the Lacey community, the son of Jim and the late Julia Wilson. He is one of three children they raised on the farm. John the oldest son, lives in Illinois, and sister Jill lives in Shawnee. Jason excelled in track and cross country. He received All-State honors in cross country. Jason graduated from Hennessey High School in 1991. After graduation, he attended Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee to study pastoral ministry. After five years, Jason decided that was not his calling and went to work with computers while continuing to be a music minister. He currently works for KPMG LLP and will complete 25 years with the company in February.
