Megan born and raised east of Hennessey to Mike and Janie Jackson. Megan was the youngest of three children (Jeremy and Amber). Megan graduated from Hennessey High School in 2000. After graduation she attended and graduated from Meridian Technology Center in Stillwater as a hairstylist. Megan has been a hairstylist for 20 years, but now only works part-time doing hair. Megan and her husband (Jon) have been married for 15 years. Jon and Megan have a son, Isaac. Isaac is 10 years old and in 4th grade at Hennessey. Megan is a self taught watercolor artist. She opened an Etsy store last year in September 2023 and it’s called Studio 51 Watercolor. Megan sells original watercolor artwork, custom items that have her artwork on them such as calendars, phone cases, tote bags, coffee mugs etc. Megan volunteers a few times throughout the school year teaching pre-k through 4th grade students watercolor art. She has also coached soccer for three years and helps with the Hennessey 4-H club. Jon, Megan and Isaac live east of Hennessey close to where she grew up. She is the 3rd generation to live on their farm. At 14 years old she started driving her dad’s combine at harvest, this year will make 30 years of driving the combine. Time flies when you’re having fun and no breakdowns! Megan loves helping her dad feed cows in the winter. A lot of life lessons and world problems can be solved by spending a few hours feeding cattle with the right person. Megan and her family love their animals and spend a lot of time with them, this includes 2 dogs, 2 cats, 3 rabbits, 6 ducks and 34 chickens. To know Megan is to love her, and her laugh will make any day brighter. She is hardworking, kind and loving. A great mother, wife and person, all wrapped into one. AAH, Shelley Muzny
