OK2A HOLDS A FLAG PARADE

The Flag Parade and Rally on Sunday, October 27th, displayed unity and patriotism. Participants from various cities and towns came together to celebrate their love for their country, proudly showcasing flags on their cars as they paraded through the streets. The sight of so many flags waving in the breeze was a reminder of the values and principles that bind the community together.

The rally that followed the parade was a gathering of like-minded individuals who shared a common goal – to promote civic engagement and encourage active participation in the democratic process. Speakers at the rally included Don Spenser, OK2A President,  Rep Mike Dobrinski, Kingfisher County Commissioner candidate Mike Sparks, and newly elected Kingfisher County Sheriff Aaron Pitts. Each one emphasized the importance of voting and being informed citizens.

OK2A’s next meeting is on November 7th at Vernost Winery, 110 N Main Street in Hennessey. The guest speaker will be Chris West, Canadian County Sheriff. Chris has been to the border, worked with border patrol, and been trained in anti-terrorism in Israel. Everyone is invited to come and hear him speak.
