Hannah Swart, a Senior at Hennessey High School, is making impressive strides toward her dream of becoming a veterinarian. As the president of the Hennessey FFA Chapter and a future Veterinary Science major at OSU, Hannah is dedicated to pursuing her passion for working with animals. Currently interning at the Wheatland Veterinary Clinic under Dr. James Matousek, Hannah’s commitment is evident as she dedicates long hours to gaining valuable experience in animal care and surgeries. Her exposure to various procedures, such as assisting in the removal of an infected kitten’s eye, showcases her unwavering determination and love for animals. The high school’s Internship Program offers students like Hannah the opportunity to explore their career interests and gain practical experience, preparing them for future success.
