The funeral for Beverly A. Hill, 81 will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday August 6, 2024 at First Christian Church, Hennessey officiated by Ellis Weber. A private family burial will precede the services under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
Beverly was born at Ames on December 5, 1942 to Iver and Aileen Brittain Crawford and died Friday August 2, 2024.
She married Edward “Cotton” Hill in Ames February 5, 1961. She was a past member of the Home Extension Club, and a member of Union Chapel Church where she taught Sunday School for over fifty years and was the church pianist and organist.
Beverly is survived by her husband Edward “Cotton” of the home, one son Sam Hill and wife Tonya of Blue Eye, Missouri; two daughters Lisa Graff and husband Charles, Trisha Bernardy and husband Tom, all of Crescent; twelve grandchildren Keeton, Natalie, Jessie, Jonathon, Joshua, Drew, Nettie, Ryan, Chris, Daniel, Rachel, Emily, and eight great-grandchildren Kaden, Esther, Jericho, Josiah, Finnegan, Jacob, Kit, and Milo; one sister Jeanette Gregory and husband Jim of Enid, one brother Leroy Crawford and wife Jane of Piedmont; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to Union Chapel Church with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
