Eagle Eatery has been serving great meals at the Church of Christ during the school year for a very long time. It’s a heartwarming mission by the Church of Christ to provide free, home-cooked meals to Hennessey High School students.
A group of 7-9 dedicated church ladies come together every other week during the school year to prepare delicious meals for 30 to 75 students, depending on school activities. This mission has been running since 2005, bringing joy to both the volunteers and the students they serve.The Eagle Eatery menu offers a variety of meals including tacos, chicken strips, hamburgers, and more, making it a popular choice among the students.
Beyond the delicious food, it’s a source of community kindness for the high school students who enjoy the meals and the warm atmosphere created by the church and volunteers.
