David and Kathy Cardin from Marshall, OK lost their home and all contents to a fire on Christmas Day. They also lost Kathy’s side-kick weenie dog in the fire. David and Kathy are long-time residents of Marshall. Nothing was salvaged from the fire. They are without all of your basic items.
David and Kathy are huge assets to the Marshall community, always giving back. Kathy has prepared our meals for alumni events for many years and puts on a huge Haunted house and donates the proceeds back to community projects. David is our Marshall Santa Claus and made Easter celebrations a big hit for our community.
They are the definition of great people. Starting all over and setting up a household isn’t easy at any time. Let’s give their new year a boost of good fortune and God’s blessings. We are organizing a shower for them to assist them in replenishing necessities. It will be held on Monday, January 1st, from 2 to 4 pm at the Marshall Alumni Building on Main St. in Marshall, OK.
