Door to door trick or treating is 6:00 – 8:30. 

Only houses with their porch light on.

Hennessey Nursing & Rehab will give candy to the children of Hennessey from 6:00 – 8:00 or candy runs out. If you would like to contribute candy so the residents can hand it out on October 31st, please bring it by the front office or the activities department at your earliest convenience. You can find collection boxes at 4T’s, Dollar Tree, and Dollar General

The Haunted Library will be from 6:00 – 8:00 

The library is accepting candy donations.  You can find collection box at 4T’s.

Trunk or Treat will be from 6:00 – 8:30 all on 3rd & 4th Street, The First Christian Church and Church of Christ will Trunk or Treat in their parking lots.

The Hennessey Police Department bring candy to Town Hall Note that it is for the PD

The Hennessey Fire Department  bring candy to Town Hall marked for the FD.  The fire department will pass candy out in front of the fire department Halloween night.  They ask that everyone please park in front of the library and avoid the construction area.  No parking behind FD or library. 

Hennessey Lion’s Club 2nd Annual Pumpkin Contest “Let’s line the streets with pumpkins”

This is for ALL ages, {carve it, paint it, decorate it just 

(NO FLAMES). Bring it to Town Hall between October 23-30th and register it to win a fun prize. Pumpkins will be displayed outside in front of Town Hall for everyone to admire during Trick or Treat of the Businesses on October 31 st from 3:30- 4:30. Winners will be chosen by Lions Club members on October 31st. All pumpkins and prizes may be picked up the following Day November 1st•

Please drive carefully that night we want all of our little gobblins to return home safely.
