Today, September 28, 2023, the town board of trustees convened for a meeting. Present were Randy Bohnstedt, Bert Gritz, Mayor Clif Vogt, and David Jones. Vice Mayor Harold Shaw was absent. The purpose of this meeting was to approve local funds amounting to 32,067.31 for the completion of a street project. The payment deadline was set for September 30th, hence the need for a special meeting to authorize the funding. It should be noted that the Reap Grant did not cover this amount, so it had to be sourced from local funds. The vote to approve the payment from local funds was unanimous.
Following this matter, the agenda included a discussion on rescheduling the October meeting, which was originally planned for the 12th during fall break. After deliberation, it was decided that the date would remain unchanged. Subsequently, the trustees entered into an executive session to discuss the contract draft for administrator Tiffany Tillman.
At the conclusion of the session, the discussion was tabled, and the meeting will resume on Monday, October 2nd at 6:00 p.m. Since it is a continued meeting, there will be no notice posted. Both the regular and HUA meetings will be continued on Monday night.
