At last week’s special meeting, Thursday, July 27th the Hennessey Board of Trustees voted to hire Starla Fuksa as the interim town administrator. David Treanor was acting as the interim town administrator since February when the former administrator, Tiffany Tillman resigned. Treanor has four other departments he manages in town and was needing to return to his normal duties.
Once Fuksa was hired, Mayor Clif Vogt asked if she could start work the next day, Friday, because the office staff was undergoing training that would benefit her.
Starla Fuksa (Cosper) is a 1977 grad of Hennessey High School and has worked as the Administrative Assistant for Kilmer Construction in Texas and the Administrative Assistant for Olathe School District, Olathe, KS.
