On May 31st, 13 year old Gage Caulder sustained injuries when he fell out of a pickup truck. He was transported to Enid, but the facilities there were not capable of handling his injuries. Gage was transported to OU Children’s Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
He is currently under sedation, receiving medication to manage the swelling. Unfortunately, he has sustained several injuries, including three skull fractures, a bruised lung, and a bleeding vein leading to his heart. Additionally, he has a brain bleed, which is being closely monitored as it is the most concerning injury.
Surgery was performed to relieve pressure on his brain. his condition has not changed much. His family is asking for continued prayers.
