Ready to Conquer the World!
During the commencement ceremonies on Friday, May 12, 2023, Hennessey High School celebrated the graduation of 39 students. The evening began with a processional recording by Allison Ferrell and a flag salute by Brylee Catlett and Kayla Wyrick. Lorynn O’Brien and Antonio Robles welcomed the attendees, followed by a poem by Laura Calvert.
The ceremony also included an emotional memorial dedication for Luis Gonzalez, a member of the graduating class who passed away on December 31, 2018. The dedication was read in both English and Spanish by Jamie Torres Franco.
The HHS Choir performed several songs, and Chloe Moery and Noelle Pollard presented two Hall of Fame introductions. Yuridia Rios and Noelle Pollard read the class accomplishments, and Allison Ferrell and Ezri Vaverka delivered their valedictory address.
