Hennessey public works employees, Bryan Burch and Troy Watkins, spent several days last week cleaning up around the pond at Bullfoot Park. Over the years the trees and brush have overtaken the shoreline making it difficult to mow and keep clean. Using the town’s new mini excavator with the brush cutter attachment, they were able to make quick work of the trees and brush. Burch said, “This new equipment makes maintaining areas like this much easier.” They recently cleaned up all of the shorelines around the sewer lagoons with this excavator.
