Eighty-eight Hennessey Students and 6 faculty members toured Autry Technology Center today.
Hennessey Board of Education has recently been assessing the interest within the community to see if there is interest in students attending one of the 2 Career Technology Centers in our area. These include Autry Technology Center in Enid, or Chisholm Trail Technology Center west of Kingfisher. If the board decides there is enough interest it will call for a vote of the people to raise property taxes to fund Hennessey joining a Career Tech district.
The students touring today included sophomore and seniors that have shown interest in career tech. Currently 7 Hennessey students are attending Chisholm Trail Tech Center under a special, temporary agreement. Photos by Patrick Courtney
