Heavy snow and bitter cold temps brought Hennessey to a halt starting last Wednesday afternoon. The schools were closed Wednesday through Friday. Thursday, pretty much all of the restaurants and many business had closed due to heavy snow. The official snow fall for our area was 6 inches but in many places much deeper due to drifts.
