The Hennessey Department of Public Works spilt into 2 crews last night (Monday) and worked through the night to make two waterline repairs. Tiffany Tillman, Hennessey’s Town Administrator said, “This is the best way to make repairs without too much disruption”. They turned off the water town-wide at 10 pm and both crews began work. The repair at the corner of East 2nd and South Cimarron was completed by 10:30 pm. At the same time, the 2nd crew was working to replace a fire hydrant on North Mitchell Rd. near the pool. The repairs were complete and water was restored by 1:30 am. Hennessey Fire Fighter Logan Macy helped with work lights and traffic control, while the 2nd street repair was being made.
