Graveside services for Billy Dean Mills, 76 will be at 2:00 PM Friday, January 7, 2022, at Sunnylane Cemetery in Del City officiated by Rev. Ish Engle. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
Billy was born in Shattuck on March 21, 1945, to Emmit William and Leota Foster Mills and died Monday, January 3, 2022, at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Enid.
Billy served in the US Army in Vietnam. He was an avid amateur radio operator and belonged to the Quarter Century Wireless Association.
Billy is survived by his mother Leota Mills of Hennessey; three brothers Bobby Mills and wife Flo of Hennessey, Glenn Mills of Dallas, Texas, Michael Mills and wife Suzanne of Moore; cousin Rickie Breckner and husband Guy Wright, numerous cousins, and nieces and nephews, and two grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his father, his wife Amelia, and one daughter.
