Hennessey Unitedโs Wine and Chocolate Festival drew some sizable crowds Saturday afternoon during this annual event. Hennessey United Board member Tiffany Tillman said, โWe are competing with the OSU – Texas football game today so we hope more will come out afterโ.
The event was canceled last year due to Covid but returned this year, in October rather than September as past.ย Wine and chocolate vendors from all over the area set up shop in Hennessey Memorial park including Vernost and Turner-Me- On wineries from Hennessey.ย The attendees were entertained by the 2 man band John the Franklin playing rock and roll oldies. ย The Hennessey Fire Fighters served up their famous ribeye sandwiches.ย
