The Hennessey Board of Trustees voted at their regular meeting (Thursday, May 13) to purchase new playground equipment for the Pat Hennessey Park located on North Arapaho St. Mayor Bert Gritz said, “There are a lot of kids in that area and this will be a nice addition.” Town Administrator Tiffany Tillman presented 4 options and suggested the one shown in the photo. Tillman said, “I would like to look into a granite plaque that tells the story about Pat Hennessey.” The equipment will be paid for with donations from; Hennessey United, Enel Energy and Midcontinent Chapter of the GPA Midstream.
