The Hennessey Powder and String Club and Youth Shooting Sports held their first annual fundraising trap shoot last Saturday, May 1st. The event drew 11 teams of 5 shooters including one youth on each team. The event was held at the Hennessey Powder and String club west of Hennessey. Proceeds were to benefit the Hennessey Powder and String Club, a local non-profit organization with the goal of promoting and participating in outdoor recreational sports such as hunting, fishing and other related activities. Monies will be utilized to upgrade the Club House and Facilities.
