MEET THE HENNESSEY TOWN TRUSTEES CANDIDATES
There are 2 Hennessey trustee seats up for the April 6th election. Two have filed for the positions. Keith Meek is the incumbent and will run again. The other candidate to file is Harold Shaw. They are unopposed and will fill the position openings.
Kati Walters is unopposed for the Town Clerk and Shelley Burch is unopposed for the Town Treasure.

Keith Meek
Q. Are you originally from Hennessey?
A. Yes
Q. Where did you graduate High School?
A. Hennessey High
Q. Did you attend College, if so where, degree?
A. I attended UCO for 2 years but did not graduate
Q. What is your full time job/business?
A. I work full-time as a pipeline operator for Mustang Gas Products, I also work for the Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Office as a Reserve Deputy.
Q. In one paragraph why are you running? A. Before I filed I was thinking about all of the accomplishments and all of the hard decisions that we have made as a board and as a town over the last 4 years. Then I started thinking about the future of Hennessey and what that could look like. As I was doing that I felt a need to be involved and a responsibility to continue to be a voice for the Town of Hennessey

A. lived most of my 54 years

A. Graduated 1984 from Hennessey
Q. Did you attend College, if so where, degree?
A. N/A
Q. What is your full time job/business?
A. I’m a consultant in the oilfield
Q. In one paragraph why are you running?
A. I’m running to be involved in my community and learn a little bit about politics and maybe get more people to run for trustee. Hopefully we can get more than 10% of our town out to vote for this election. So to Citizens of Hennessey please get out and vote, whether it’s for Keith Rachel or me please just go vote.
