HENNESSEY TOWN COUNCIL SEATS AVAILABLE This coming April 6th, there will be 2 Hennessey town board seats along with the treasurer and clerk positions up for vote. 20 year board member, and former Mayor Wes Hardin said, โI have done my duty, itโs someone elseโs turnโ.Keith Meek, completing his first 4 year term said in an email, โI haven’t completely made up my mind but I’m leaning towards not running.โThe treasurer position held by Teresa Weber since 2007 will be up for vote along with Kati Walters, who was appointed the clerk in August when Tiffany Tillman stepped down. Both Weber and Walters said they will file for reelection. Candidate filing is Monday-Wednesday, Feb. 1-3, at the county election board at the Kingfisher Courthouse. The election will be April 6th.
