DR. MIKE WOODS RETIRES
During the Monday night’s regular January School Board Meeting, the Hennessey School Board went into executive session (closed to the public) to go over Dr. Woods regular evaluation for the 2021-2022 school year. When they returned from Executive session, School Board President Dr. James Matousek announced, “It is with a heavy heart that I announce Dr. Woods’ retirement” During an executive session, Woods submitted his resignation. Woods said, “It’s time for me to retire and work on some things I have had on my mind for a long time.” Woods will stay through the end of this school year effective June 30th. This is Woods 5th year at Hennessey.
