A private family service for Charlie Fisher will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later time.
Charlie was born on May 24, 1938 in Hennessey, Oklahoma to Francis Marion and Lillie (Nealey) Fisher and died on December 23, 2020 at his home with his family by his side.
He grew up in the Hennessey and Crescent area. On June 12, 1961, Charlie married Nancy Williams in Hennessey. Charlie was a welder for Briscoe Enterprises for 35 years. He was a roughneck in California on offshore drilling rigs and was a welder/fabricator for Huffhines Steel.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bob, John, Ambrose; sisters, Helen Hutchison and Grittia Fuksa.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy of the home; children, Becky Riggs, Charlene (Terry) Choate, all of Hennessey, Willie Fisher of Waukomis, Jodi Fisher of Lahoma; six grandchildren, Teresa (Jamie) Fletcher, Tanner (Megan) Choate, Dillon (Angela) Riggs, Tyler Riggs, Cody Riggs and Matthew Fisher; five great grandchildren, Lily Fletcher, Dexter Fletcher, Trent and Tate Choate, Brayson Brinson; brothers, Ray fisher and Billie Fisher; other relatives and friends.
