Each year the Hennessey FFA collects aluminum cans at their collection site on Oklahoma St. The FFA then cashes in the cans for recycling, and the Hennessey Masons match the amount. This year the FFA decided to donate their can proceeds to the Hennessey Reserve Angels program. The Reserve Angels helps families in need with Christmas gifts. Recycled cans brought $168 this year. The Masons matching contribution brought the amount to $336. If you would like to donate your aluminum cans you can do so anytime at the corner of Oklahoma and Mitchell Rd. behind the Hennessey Ag building.
