Today, November 12th, Judge Robert Lovell was presented the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award by Lion’s Club President Tim Riddle.
This award was created in 1973, named after the founder of Lion’s Club International, it is the highest honor of recognition to an individual’s dedication to humanitarian service.
There have been only 3 other Lion’s Club members to receive this honor in the Hennessey club; Bill Cerny, Roy Johnson and Paul Babiak. Judge Lovell has been a member of the Lion’s Club for 65 years!
