Lisa Blosser (Willis) was born on December 23, 1959, in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Roy and Alice Willis and died on September 15, 2020, in Omaha, Nebraska. There will be a celebration of Life Service Saturday, October 24th, at 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church 122 S Cherokee Street in Hennessey with Jimmy Berkenbile classmate and close friend officiating. Following service there will be a Time of Reflection at The Gathering Place 6067 Madison Street.
Lisa was raised and educated in Hennessey, Oklahoma, graduating from Hennessey High School in the class of 1978. While pursuing her education in nursing, Lisa worked in the pharmaceutical field from 1983 to 1992. During this time, she worked tirelessly toward her degree in nursing. After graduating as an LPN in 1993, she began her long career as a nurse, serving in her first position at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, Oklahoma. Her passion for helping others took her on many adventures, from hospital care to travel nursing, as well as oncology and senior care. Eventually, Lisa found her true calling within the senior care units in support of hundreds of memory care patients.
In 2018, Lisa made a life-changing decision to relocate to Omaha, Nebraska to be with her daughter and family. Still, Lisa followed her passion and continued her work in nursing until her death.
She is survived by her daughter, Marissa Harley and husband Bryson; granddaughters Brilee and Adalynn; sister Lori Morse; brother John Willis; daughter-in-law Reneé Busby; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Roy and Alice Willis; and son Brian Caviness. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Community Action Team (to go towards Lisa’s unborn grand baby Harley)
