About 100 excited kids and parents lined up this afternoon for the ribbon cutting at the new pool. After a short speech by Mayor Bert Gritz, he cut the ribbon letting everyone enter the new aquatic center. Moms smeared sunblock on their kids and the fun began. The 9 foot high diving board was a big hit, along with the small children area and play features. The pool will be open Monday – Saturday from 12:00 to 6:00 pm, and Sunday 1:00 to 6:00 pm. Admission: is 0-17 $2.00, 18-64 $3.00, 65+ $1.00.
