The Hennessey Town Trustees voted at their regular meeting Thursday night to immediately eliminate the job position of the public works director held by Curtis Turner. Turner was upset and said โThatโs it?โ Turner had a heart attack a few months ago and recently returned from medical leave. At the boardโs May meeting they discussed that they were going to have a big loss in revenue because of sales tax declines and the oil field decline and were working on reducing costs.
